Report Explanations

Click to learn more about our upcoming conference for eBay sellers at all levels.

All hit reports only show Store items (whether still live or ended) and Core items once they have ended. All other reports will show data whether items are live or have ended.

All reports are only on the data we have collected from your listings, Store, and Custom URLs. We are not reporting on any other sellers or general eBay trends. For a one-two punch, we suggest that you use ESR for specific data on what your shoppers are doing, and use Terapeak for data on other sellers, eBay categories, and general eBay activity.

Time Spent on Listings   go to this report and   Time Spent on Closed Listings   go to this report

What Does This Report Show?
This report shows how long people stayed on your listing before leaving the page. Did people really stay 10 minutes on your listing? Chances are that they didn't. This could have been someone who opened your listing and then went to work. :)
What Should I Do With This Information?
With some of the time figures being not wholly reliable, we don't expect you to make huge strategy changes based on this one! However, the lower numbers should be more accurate. If people are leaving your listing quickly, it could mean they may not want what it was, but it could also mean that there was something about your listing that made them lose interest. Consider how you are presenting your company and your item.
