 | Q: | | When are the webinars that will teach me how to install and use ESR? |
 | A: | | We're offering free webinars on ESR, available 24/7, right from this website! Learn how to install ESR and how to use the reports (coming soon). Watch them at your convenience, any time. |
|
 | Q: | | Am I locked in a contract with ESR? |
 | A: | | No! Check the pricing page for more details. |
|
 | Q: | | What is the time zone for the reports? |
 | A: | | eBay time! Pacific Standard or Daylight Time, depending upon what it is in California at the time. |
|
 | Q: | | Are you looking at my sales or revenue? |
 | A: | | No! Our usage of the eBay API does NOT include pulling down your sales to determine your revenue. Any information we collect about you is ONLY yours. We are not sharing it, renting it, giving it away, or aggregating it. |
|
 | Q: | | I put in all the code just like you said. When will my reports have data? |
 | A: | | The eBay Store Hit Type report will have data as soon as one person visits your eBay Store.
The Custom URLs report will have data as soon as someone clicks on a Custom URL.
Reports that include Store listings should have Store listing visits within an hour or so of those visits, regardless of whether the Store item is closed or still running.
Reports on listings are different. While your listings are getting visits, we do not report on those listings until they have ended. Within an hour of so of the listing ending, it should be in reports. If you find something that doesn't seem to be working right, email esrsupport@everyseller.com and give us all the details (eBay item numbers, how our code was added, which report(s) you were running here). |
|
 | Q: | | Can the Custom URLs work inside Flash? |
 | A: | | Yes! Just make sure that the HTML calling the Flash has "always" for the "allowscriptaccess" parameter, just in case. |
|
 | Q: | | Does ESR report on IP numbers or where visitors are? |
 | A: | | Not until we hear more from you about how you would use that info to change your listing strategies. We figured that if you knew the times and days that people tend to visit, does it matter if they're in New Zealand or maybe an Ameriacn on a trip in New Zealand? We are working on a "block IP" feature that will let ESR filter out your own visits to your listings and Store.
One of our clients told us that if he knew more people were shopping from Japan, he might try to negotiate beter shipping rates to Japan. We say go try to negotiate those better shipping rates anyway. :) |
